HUH?????

A GOOD nurse makes more then a VERY BAD lawyer....

Look at the career span; big difference.

I can wall paper my entire house with degrees; the point is what? It's how I choose to employ my talents which get me into a career and a decent paying job.

A State Trooper retires with more of a pension & higher paid salary than the majority of MD's...and think these guys barely have a degree nor do they have liability as a MD does.

Decide what you do in school based on what you're willing to do as a career, and what you're willing to do as a career should be at least 45% based on how much money you want to be earning. "I want to be comfortable" is not a good answer to tell yourself.

An arts degree is almost utterly useless and will get you no career.

The best things you can expect from college are things that require professional college - Dentists, Veterinarians, Doctors, Lawyers, Geologists, Engineers, Nurses (the high end ones make better money than all but the top 10% of lawyers) and then maybe Accountants.

Other than these you could still argue that you weren't wasting your time by trying to get Kinesiology (if you are serious about doing personal training), or maybe social work (but only if you really want to work with messed up people and get happiness from this).

Other than this its all pretty much a waste of time and money (there are a few things here and there that are good if you actually complete your program - actuarial studies, pure math, research grade science etc).
