Dear Hark,

You have, obviously, never studied the history and the roots of the religion you profess to follow for if you had you would not say I was wrong. Instead, you would have agreed and then we could move onto how this religion, at least, has evolved over time into one that could become more eglatarian as far as the genders were concerned.

As long as men are to rule over women in religion "He for God She for him." nothing will evolve and sex will remain the huge problem so many find it to be with conflicting messages and conflicting desires not only between men and women but within men and within women.

Even the laying down of 'true principles' can be seen as controlling - for the question of authority arises. If you believe that sex = fornication versus sex= bonding in a glorious reaffirmation of life, then you can see where conflict can arise depending simply upon your belief in this one area. Almost all religions have come down on the side of sex = fornication except within a marriage and even then only for procreative purposes for anything else debases a person into an animal.

Yes, I have studied religion and religions as well as philosophies and systems of societal organization. They have all varied over time but almost none have ever left the control of women to the women themselves. Almost always men have decided that men must control women, women's sexuality, and women's procreativity. Men have also enforced this rule most brutally using their greater strength and martial training and education and in some case by cutting off girls' clitorises at age 7 in the bathroom on the floor without anesthetics - all in the name of God who wouldn't let women in heaven intact.

Sorry, Hark, but I am not wrong - unfortunately.
