I agree w/Brandye. I had a history of abnormal paps while a virgin (13) which worsened with time prior to sexual activity. Low grade & early onset of a low grade CA. Treated with Cryo surgery with one recurrance since.

Seeing the stats and the patients coming down with HPV & the correlation to cervical Ca...this is a choice which only the parent & patient can make. There are always unwanted side effects to any vaccination yet when the benefit outweighs the risk? You do it. I would not take the risk of "skipping it".
