You do need to see a doctor. Contact is contact and that is all it takes to spread a disease. And yet it might just be an allergic reaction to the various lotions and creams you've been using. Think the worse and hope for the best. You need to find out what this is, as you are having multiple symptoms. Flu or cold like symptoms and even a slightly elevated temperature are not to be ignored. You need to make sure that you give the doctor all your symptoms and how long they lasted. Also take in the lotions and such that you have used so that your doctor knows.
