[Lost one]

You all been helpful so far and I know some doctors are here.

As you may know I was in a semi-sexual (not vaginal or anal, just oral and touching) relationship for a month. I was embarrassed to ask but I think I should. I plan to see a doctor anyway.


After being in bed with her the night, a very small painful rash appeared in the middle (not base or head) of my penis. I forget how soon, but it was quick. I had assumed it was only an itchy irritation an used various lotions and anti bacterial cream on it. There was some burning if I touched it. Almost no effect. If anything the itch spread, but the main wound didn't. Getting an erection either didn't happen or it was painful. A few days later I used a regiment of hydrogen peroxide followed by Lamisil (an anti fungal cream). The regiment burned It seemed to heal from red to pink and then skin. I'll note I had no other symptoms at this time.

Only weeks later I have a very slightly above normal temperature for myself and had some sinus issues, yet nothing I consider full blown flu or cold at least compared to what I'm used to. I have had no reappearance of the spot on my penis. I have had some dry skin in the area once though.

Afterward, I started read up on STD's. Of course I am worried about the dreaded HIV, but I am more concerned about the two choices of Herpes or Bacterial infection. I believe that is called Candisis or something like that. That might be commonly known as yeast infection. There was only fluid if I rubbed or tried to break it. There was no obvious bumps that would look like the Herpes pictures. No crusting or anything like that.

I am worried. From what I said does it sound like Herpes, Yeast or something else I should look up? How can I or my doctor test for STD's or Yeast and what can I expect when I ask? Any more info on these conditions or my symptoms?

I'm really hoping I am normal (paranoid) and that was a series of misfortune or I'm self cured. I only regret not doing something sooner or even going here to ask for advise.
