I don't remember talking about that, and it wasn't quite that simple. Around 4 years ago we tried going out, but it didn't really work. She got in a relationship a few months after, I got in one nearly 2 years ago. She had been single for the last 2-3 years though, and I kinda dumped my last gf to get back with her since we'd been flirting for ages anyway.
6-7 weeks seems like a long time to get results back.. They told me 3 days, and that I had to go back in to get them regardless of the results since they won't tell me over the phone. So I'm going in on thurs. If I had got something from someone else, it would have been a good 8 months or so with no symptoms.. While she has had symptoms in the last couple of months.
And... We use other protection, not condoms so I guess it would be a pretty sure thing that if one of us had something the other would too.
