Same here for Detroit teams.
The last World Series game I was at as the only game the Tiger's won of the series. I've also thrown a couple of octopi onto ice, those are the games I really love. It was awesome to see what a million people turn out for the Red Wing parade, lots of kids skipped the last day of school to go down. The team was amazed, from their staging area they couldn't see up Woodward where it was people to people all the way on both sides of the streets. So as the pickups they were in turned onto Woodward, there were some pretty shocked players.
I do wish the Lions played better, but there is a curse on them somewhere. One of my friends dad played for them in the late 50's, retired from them in 61. Which is funny because that's the year both of us were actually born. See what retirement does.....
