Yaz is a combination pill that contains both estrogen and progestin (both synthetic). No woman should be taking "yaz and estrogen." That would be an overdose of estrogen (mild, but real) and would defeat the purpose of using a combination pill.

How you, she or the doctor could confuse Levon with Yaz is beyond me. They are about as different as hormone pills can be. Do a goolge search on yaz and read all about it. Women should really understand what they are putting into their bodies.
