Yes, the Mavericks that arrive on that part of the coast..........the weather
is really amazing there. Yeah, it was wild how rocky the entire coast is there
probably the coldest water I have ever felt especially in the month of August.
I had heard that about the Great Whites but did not see any. Are there many
attacks?? Is there a healthy seal population somewhere close or is it the cold
water that attracts them? That is one of the most dangerous surfing sites
on the planet when the big storms in the Pacific shoot to the south. HUGE
swails 20 to 25' especially near Pillar Point.
