Are you referring to Maverick's, or the general HMB locations? That place is crazy, covered in rocks, has freezing water, and is home to great whites. Do you surf there in the summers, winters, or year round?
If you want consistent surf for all conditions, Black's in La Jolla is the best sand break in the continental US.
