Hello Matthew, and welcome to the SI101 Board and its Forums, if I haven't already said so.
Yes, please read through the Index of articles that you will find at the top of the main screen.
Begin by reading "Am I Ready for Sex", then: "INTERCOURSE / ORGASMS / and the gentle art of Humping(plus the G-spot and Making Out)", and any other articles the two of you may find of interest.
While the Missionary position is still probably the defacto standard, for first time ever intercourse, the Woman Superior position is considered by many to be the best. Why? Because it places the woman in control. She--
* knows where P is and where V is and can bring the two together very easily saving the guy some angst and possible embarrassment
* she can place the tip of the penis alongside the hymen if it is intact, or, against one of the openings in the membrane
* she can apply just the right amount of pressure to attempt penetration and when when
* if penetration is successful, she can govern the speed of insertion, depth of insertion, and rate and depth of stroking
There are a few different versions of this position:
A. woman straddles man's torso and squats above him. She can rub her pieces parts against his pubic mound and bounce up and down or undulate while sitting on him
B. she can kneel over him and rest on her hands or forearms
C. she can almost lay on him supporting herself with her arms
D. she can lay on him
If your girlfriend is capable of having orgasms, it is the better part of courtesy and good manners to make sure she has one or more before attempting penetration, first time or anytime. As a first time experience for her, if there is any discomfort, you can be pretty much assured that she will not be able to orgasm if she is otherwise capable.
If she has not yet learned to masturbate and have orgasms, you cannot make her. Each of us is responsible for our own and there are three articles listed in the Index that address this matter.
As for other information, well, expect that you will probably have one or both of these happen to you: Premature Ejaculation and/or Performance Anxiety.
PE is defined as having an untimely climax within a minute or so of penetration. PA is when you fail to get an erection or maintain one. Not to worry. Just
expect that they might possibly happen and laugh them off if one or both do happen to you. There are articles on both of these conditions as well.
