2 Questions.

Okay so im pretty new to this site, ive looked a couple threads before and there seems to be a lot of people on this website so i thought i would join up and give it a try. Okay so question 1: there might already be a thread on this but im new and i havent seem to find one so if possible point me in the direction where i can find an aswer, i was just wondering on average how much a male penis age grows over say 6 months or a year? (around the ages of 15-16-17-18). And my second question is me and my girlfriend have had sex for the first time and there is no doubt in my mind that we are going to be doing it more frequently and i really dont like the idea of a condom and i wanted to suggest birth control to her but im not sure how shes gonna react...I was just wondering if you could help me with some things i should reasure her about when it comes to it (positive things to birth control). Thank for the help!:)

If you can't talk to your partner about birth control you shouldn't be having sex...period.

Unless you are TOTALLY married or in a committed relationship that has NO financial encumberances FORGET about the NO CONDOM idea!! at the very least you need 2 forms of contraceptives! If you choose otherwise, be really really good at picking out the colours for the BABY'S new room!

birth control failure rates

Right unless you are in a monogamous relationship and are sure you are both STD free and going to stay that way...then a condom is the way to go.
You've only done it once so how can you already know you hate them?

1. It's impossible to measure the rate of growth for the male penis because everyone's grows at different rates. It's the same thing as heighth.

2. Use a condom. I know, we all hate them but if you're in that 15-18 range it's just damn irresponsible for you not to use a condom. Just find one that works for you. Also, just flat out suggest to her to take birth control. Just get onto the subject and and ask that she do it. Read up on BC pills so that you know what you're talking about too.
At a 97% success rate, you can't afford not to.

what don't you like about the condom ? I hope it is that it is not the most reliable form of protection, well true no method is 100 % effective, your best bet is BC pills AND a condom that way there is minimal risk of transmitting desease and you are sure she will not get pregnant

Or if she isn't comfortable w/ taking any type of hormonal BC then condoms and spermicidal jelly, foam, inserts.... and spermicidal condoms don't count :)

Cutting to the chase, or, the short story...

Teens have the greatest chance of creating new life of any age group. That said, if you do not want to become an unwed father and to have your plans for the future forever changed, wear a condom. Look out for #1.

If your girlfriend does not want to become an unwed mother and to have the future course and plans for her life changed forever, she must use some highly reliable form of contraception. This can be one of the pills, patch, or other form of medication, diaphragm, sponge, etc. She also needs to look out for #1.

If the two of you do not want to tempt fate and fool with Mother Nature, then as a partnership, the two of you need to act responsibly. One of you using a contraceptive is insufficient protection. At the very minimum, as Brandye has stated more than once, use a condom in conjunction with a spermicidal jell introduced into the vagina.

With the use of no or just one form of contraceptive, you are playing a version of Russian Roulette. The difference is that instead of one bullet in the cylinder of a six shooter, you have a fully loaded "cannon" that fires live ammo each and every time.

If the two of you cannot talk about matters of the heart, matters of sex, then how do you expect to hold other discussions on other important matters that affect how the two of you live life?

The only reason to stick an uncovered penis in an unprotected vagina is to have children. You may have dodged it this time but if 100 couples at your school got it on without protection some Friday night, there would be a few pregnancies. You want to join them?
