Just go slow and feel the mood. Don't think about how nervous you are. Because then you might come off as inexperienced. The whole point is to have a good time.
Is the girl inexperienced? If she is then she might have the same feeling and is just waiting for you to take the next step. If she is experienced you might want to wait a little longer to see what she is comfortable with.
If you want to try I do suggest vampanju1061's advice. It seems very logical.
About the gagging. Only use a little bit of tounge the first time. Just poke the tip out of your mouth. It is an unusual sensation to get used to. But a very enjoyable one
