ok i finally tried the Instead cup for the first time
...i was having surgery today and started my period, and i absolutely HATE tampons because they are uncomfortable and it hurts to take them out, so i decided to go with the Instead cup (not the ideal situation to be trying it for the first time but it couldn't be helped
) all the nurses were interested in it, and had never heard of it before
i was mainly concerned it would be hard to remove, or that it would cause cramping (the way tampons do) but all went well although i had some leakage somehwere along the way at one point...
i plan on switching to these entirely now
