Sorry, but you are mistaken. Masturbation is the erotic stimulation of the genitals, usually with the hand or an external object.
The definition does not require self-stimulation or privacy or the absence of others. "Mutual masturbation" is a common sexual practice in which sex partners do masturbate each other.
