This desire or curiousity and its following sexual behaviour is much more common than most people realize. Many women about your age have these urges. For some it is a path to heterosexuality and for some it is the beginning of a bi-sexual life-style. What you do does not determine the rest of your life.

It has been said that "men tolerate intimacy for sex and women tolerate sex for intimacy." This is greatly exaggerated in both directions but, among teens, it is almost true. Women do have an intuitive ability to please one another and understand one another. Most teens who do actually go on to being wives, moothers and fitting most female roles in life.

I was exactly your age , and sexually active with my b/f, when a g/f and I discovered what you are discovering. The rest of our teen years we sometimes dated boys but we were our own primary sexual relationship. We understood that not every kiss had to lead to orgasm and we did not have to worry when our periods were two days late. There were many advantages and our parents did not even object to our spending time together.

She went on to marriiage and a child; I, to a few heterosexual relationships. Many years later we are back together both living happily.

I certainly meet the definition of bi-sexual. That does not detract from mainly being a woman.
