I was not aware that skin condoms were still on the market. That may be a reflection of how long since I was a condom user. The skin condoms will allow any viral STD to pass: herpes and HIV. They seem to stop sperm and bacteria. They are not noticeably different from latex or poly condoms in real life. Condoms should always be used with a spermicide backup in the vagina - jelly, foam, whatever.
As you have been told, unprotected sex is an activity for those trying to become parents. You general unawareness indicates that you are not likelyt ready to be called "Daddy."
Why in the world would you expect her parents to tell you about her sexual history? That is also immature.
