I'm not sure of the wisdom of this... although a playful approach can be helpful to someone who is shy. Have you discussed his shyness? Have you agreed to going at it this way...?

As for pointers, the most important one is "Don't ask a question if you can't handle the answer." This board is filled with groans from people who had to know about a partner's previous experience and then found they couldn't handle the answer.

I think you'll find plenty of questions to consider just be looking at the polls.

But again, if you haven't agreed to this, you're probably just going to make him uncomfortable.
