It means how long did you wait to have sex (with your first partner) after you met and how long with any other relationships did you wait.

Me and my Fiancee first made love on January 11th 2002 - we met on Dec 15th 2001 it was my first time because I was waiting for someone special to lose my virginity to (I was 21). (no shortage of offers over the years before - including a threeway btw) I am correct in doing so as we are still very much together and due to Marry on August 5th
