You must be one of a kind or live someplace special. Since turning 40 I feel that I've become sexually invisible. I no longer fit the media bombarded image of being in the teens or 20's. I remember when men used to look at me that way (sometimes a negative experience, sometimes positive) and they just don't seem to anymore. Those that are my age are looking at girls half my age. Those that are half my age are looking at their female peers.

If a women over 40 is interested in a man 10-15 years younger it still seems to be a BIG TABOO NO-NO, while nobody cares if some 60 year old man is having sex with a woman 20-30. Why the heck is that? It's 2006 and yet I saw a People Magazine a couple of months ago that featured "celebrity" couples where the woman was older than the man -- the implication was that this was only because of the woman's ability to retain her looks (Yoga, surgery) or her Hollywood clout and big bucks, as if there was nothing else about her that a man would like or that would keep his attention for more than 5 minutes!!
