Dear Mod,

Maybe it's just me, but I feel I should be able to edit my posts in any way, at any time (provided I stay within accepted posting guidelines). 99% of any edits I make are going to be for grammar correction or content clarification. I would, however, like to have the option of completely re-vamping a post if I should feel I made a terrible mistake in posting it in the first place (whether that decision comes 5 min or 5 years from time of posting). Is this too much to ask? I completely understand your point of view on this, but I feel everyone is being "punished" for a few people "abusing" the system. As to the posts that I've seen disappear, I may not agree with their removal, but I respect the right of the poster to be able to choose to do so.

I would also like to request either a better FAQ that covers more information about the features of the new board, or a posting for every time a feature is implemented. Rep power, for instance, is something I noticed for the first time this morning. Please excuse my ignorance, but what is it, how does it work, etc.

Thanks.
