To me you seem a little paranoid.
You were also wondering why he moaned and rolled his eyes back when he came. We all respond to sex and orgasms differently.
There really is no "normal" when it comes to reactions.
Maybe he just thinks you are beautiful and likes to look at you. My boy likes to watch me and my face when we are having sex. You do have a connection when you look eachother in the eye. Myself, I like to close my eyes and focus on the pleasure.
