are there kids at home? is that why you are using a hotel? if thats the case, i think you should talk about it so it is clear that the hotel is only a short stay since there is nowhere else to go.
Chances are he may be happy with that arrangement since most men's idea of post sex fun is getting dressed and going home or rolling over and going to sleep!
