There have been times when I've been fingering my girlfriend (I say fingering, but I'm more specifically talking about stimulating her clit since it works better for her) when my hand, wrist and arm will get tired from the time I spend down there.

Now I'm 30 and in reasonably fit shape, so I'm not too sure why this is. Sometimes it will be after 5 minutes, sometimes somewhat longer.

My girlfriend isn't the easiest to stimulate to orgasm (sometimes I need to work for 40 minutes plus although she enjoys it all.) I've tried swapping hands, but it's tricky to get the same rhythm again. Obviously also used my tongue, but again it's difficult to get the same rhythm going which is what she's after. And when someones enjoying something I'm not the sort of guy who is going to take a break half-way through!
