Well its not going to get in the mouth as long as it's not your heaviest day and you have a fresh tampon in. I advice a shower right before the event also. And stick the string up inside you.
Also for anyone thinking of doing this. The woman can still get wet and have her juices flow out. It won't be mixed with blood. Those come from different places. The tampon will take care of any blood flow. In my experience there is very little if no blood at all during being done.
And as to why some don't want to wait is because some women's horniest time of the month is during their period. I know that is often the case with me. Something with the hormones.
Trust me if handle right its not gross at all. It can be just as good. *
