As a gay male I find all the hoopla about this topic somewhat amusing. *Most of the trouble seems to stem from misinformation and sociological ideals.
Anal sex does not "make" anyone gay.
Normally the rectum is free of fecal matter; however, a warm water enema beforehand can make certain and make the participants a little more comfortable with the idea. *It also has the advantage of "warming things up".
The "well lubricated" finger is most important, but as important is to remember to go slowly-especially for someone unuse to this experience. *Half steps and retreat, a little deeper over time. *The more relaxed you are with your partner the easier all of this is. *You can always work up to more fingers, and deeper insertion if you find you enjoy anal stimulation.
The MOST important thing to remember is that if you truly don't enjoy anal play- DON'T DO IT. *Believe it or not, there are gay men who don't enjoy it- the whole "you're not putting anything 'in there'" attitude. *Sex is suppose to be fun, and if what you are doing isn't, change what you are doing.
