Hey everyone I have a question that I need help with. I just within the last 6 months or so started shaving down below, but every time I get my sperm on that area I get these big zit like things where it was. Sometimes if I'm fast I can wash it off and it don't happen. But if I'm not they show up and are sometimes huge. The latest one turned black, and lasted about a week before it started to go away. Is this some kind of STD our is it just my pubic roots getting infected by the foreign liquids (sperm)?

Pubic area

It might not be because of the semen. It could just be ingrown hairs, chafing or some other kind of irritation resulting from shaving your pubic hairs. My recommendation is - if shaving your pubes is causing a problem don't do it. If you are shaving to make your penis look longer or so you can appreciate the length better you should try trimming your pubic hair very short. This will give you approximately the same visual effect of more length without causing the irritation.
Obviously you are reacting to something in your own semen. Unusual but not unknown. It sounds like it began with your shaving. Ergo, stop shaving. All shaving leaves small cuts in the skin and these cuts are the pathway whatever you are reacting to into your system. There some men who have a similar problem shaving their faces, without contact with semen, and use special medication to prevent it.
Cannot hazard a guess what the chemicals or pathogens are but the answer to the problem is obvious. If you have any question about whether or not you have an STD, get tested.
Gosh, Mike, this is a truly new situation that I have never seen asked before. My simple solution is to place a tissue on your pubic mound or over the place where your ejaculate lands.
You could also use a washcloth instead; or, keep a damp one handy in order to wipe up immediately.
Third, shortly after I began to masturbate I kept a small wide mouth jar (like artichoke hearts come in) in my nightstand to bring out and collect my semen in. I rinse it out later and store it away for the next time. There is also a side benefit, this being that I sometimes rub the frenulum (Y-shaped ridge of skin on the underside of the penis) against the wet rim of the jar in order to help trigger an orgasm. (Use you saliva to either wet a spot on the rim, or, spread some saliva (if not using a lubricant) on the frenulum).
You should consider a close trim instead of shaving. Doing so should eliminate the problem altogether, and, because there will be no stubble there will be no itching a few days later.
I hope this is of help. Got questions?
Thanks for the input. Yeah I've started keeping a wet cloth handy when it could come in contact with me.
I do it cause I hate hair I shave my head as well. If I have no contact with my semen then I stay clear of these things. I just think its a reaction to my semen on my skin I didn't think it was a STD but wanted input from others.
