Amazing Sex Records I - Men

'What's the biggest, smallest, thickest, most ...'? We always want to know 'How far can this thing go?’ and 'Who did it?' Well, if you've ever been at a party and needed a quick sexual quip to bump the conversation in the right direction, then this is it!

Some of the following records are anecdotal and unproven by any official body, but it is like reading the tabloids ... you might be a bit sceptical, but the 'possibility' and controversy keeps you reading:

Most sexual partners in one day

A male porn star supposedly named Jon Dough (ok, even we are skeptical at this point, but go with us on this one) was supposedly asked to have sex with 101 women in a day but failed 'miserably,' stopping at only 52; poor fellow (thank goodness for Viagra)!

Fastest Erection

Among the Kinsey records listed in 'Sexual Behavior in the Human Male' a number of males were reported as being able to achieve an erection in as few as 3 seconds. But don’t feel bad, because as many of us know, the time it takes to form an erection is affected by mood, fatigue, circulatory health and general level of sexual activity at the time. Some men just happen to be more ready than others ... a gift or curse, you decide.

Fastest Male Orgasm

Again we can thank Kinsey for this research: 25% of preadolescent boys tested could manage an orgasm in less than a single minute, and around 6% could achieve orgasm in less than 10 seconds!

Greatest Volume of Ejaculate – 11 ml Volume

An article known as "The Semen of Fertile Men: Statistical Analysis of 1300 Men" was published in The Journal of Fertility and Sterility. It showed the results of specimens collected from men undergoing vasectomy; each was required to stay abstinent for a time, and then produce the specimen. The average produced was just over 3 ml (between 2 and 4.5 ml). The greatest amount produced was 11 ml... not bad.

Fastest Sperm – 28 mph

The average speed of a man's ejaculation is around 28 miles per hour (45 km p/h). This is interesting when you consider that the average speed of a city bus is around 25 miles per hour (or 40 km p/h). Good thing this stuff is soft, because a blast like that might otherwise hurt a gal!

Longest 'Shot Fired'

Ever wondered how far the blast can go? The farthest male ejaculation ever recorded was fired off by one Horst Schultz and listed at 18 feet (6 meters). Now that’s some nice shootin', Tex!

Most Sexual in Old Age

Forget ever hearing that a man's sexuality ends after 65. Kinsey found one 70 year old man who was still having over 7 orgasms per week, and that some other men at 75 were having sex around once per month. Drum-roll please; some 80-year olds managed it once every 9 – 10 weeks. While life may not begin at 65, it seems it hardly ends there!

Most Ejaculations in an Hour

Although nothing compared to what women can achieve, the largest number of ejaculations a man has achieved in one hour appears to be around 16. Any hopefuls out there who want to try to break this record?

Longest Sustained Erection

Although not technically a self-sustained erection, the current record must be near 30 years! No it's not because of an untreated priapism (medical condition where chemicals that cause an erection sustain the erection for hours after ejaculation). In the early 70s, erectile dysfunction was sometimes treated with implants that never allowed the penis to become flaccid!

Strangest Use of a Penis

Ever thought of the penis as a tool for something other than sex and urination? Most of us haven’t, but leave it to the ancient Chinese to have broken ground far ahead of the rest of us. Over 4000 years ago, some Taoists who practiced the art of Chi Kung reportedly lifted weights with their penises. How much? A beginner would start with two or three pounds, but after many years practice... a present day (1995) expert, Mo Ka Wang of Hong Kong, lifted 250 pounds!

Largest Human Penis – 12 inches

So you've wondered 'long and hard' about just how 'long and hard' a mans penis really can get? This is it, the main event for the fellas. In one survey taken in 1935 by one Dr Jacobus, and published in his "L'Ethnologie du Sens Genitale," members measuring just shy of 12 inches are reported. This is judged to be a more reliable statistic than the 14 inch monster mentioned by Dr. David Reuben in his "Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Sex" as he quoted no source.

Largest Animal Penis – the Rorqual whale; 10 feet long, 1 foot in diameter

Elephants have got nothing on the ocean mammals, whose members could realistically feed a large family for a week! Elephants come in around 2 feet, which is impressive, but the Rorqual takes first prize. The whales' penis is formed by two ‘arms’ which are attached to the pelvic bone. These merge together to become the actual penis, which can be stored inside the body when not in use. Well hung and conveniently slung... oh the jealousy!

Most Efficient Orgasm

One survey of over 5,000 men revealed three or four that could achieve orgasm by concentrating on sexual thoughts alone! They did nothing physical to the penis or any other part of their body; they just thought about sex and minutes later produced an orgasm.

Autofellatio Factoid

There are about 2 to 3 men in a thousand who actually can suck their own penises, either through natural endowment or practice – or both we suspect!

Most Penis Removals – 13,000 penises

King Menephta of Egypt apparently defeated the Libyans in 1300 B.C., and to celebrate the event, thoughtfully castrated the entire defeated army. The event is apparently highlighted at his monument at Karnak, with the details of which penises belonged to which Libyans, although there were also Etruscan, Sirculian, and Greek 'sausages in the salad.'
