Between the years 1725 and 1765, in a total of 27 births, the following is a breakdown of the bébés: 7 sets of triplets, 4 sets of quadruplets, and 16 pairs of twins. Of the 69 born, 67 survived infancy. The record held by the currently living mom-of-the-most is 64, 55 of which are documented, in Chile by Leontina Albina.

While doing research at Marital and Sexual Studies in Long Beach California, doctors William Hartman and Marilyn Fithian observed a 28 year old man having sixteen within one hour. Needless to say, after the first few ejaculations, the rest were dry orgasms.

Having been customarily cruel and horrible to his subjects, the last Sharifian Emperor of Morocco, Moulay Ismail (1675-1727) earned himself the title ‘The Bloodthirsty’. He is believed to have fathered at least 888 babies, though some estimates put this number at over 1000. By 1703, 525 sons and 342 daughters were reported to have been born to 500 women he had in his harem. Jeez, with all sex he was having, you’d think he could be a little nicer … but maybe it was having to deal with all the mothers-in-law!
