Penis Too Big

Q. I can’t seem to find an answer to my problem anywhere. My problem sounds like a joke, but it is not. No one will take me seriously. I am large when it comes to average penis size. My wife is a very small girl. What can I do to not hurt her when we are having sex?

A. Penis size consists of two components, length and circumference. Although most studies in this area vary slightly in the findings, the average erect penis length is 5.5 to 6.5 inches, and the average circumference is 4.5 to 5 inches. Although most women can accommodate most men fairly easily, if you are much bigger than average (or even only slightly so, if your wife is petite) then your size relative to hers can certainly cause some pain or discomfort during sex - and yes, that is serious!

The majority of a woman's nerve endings are in the first couple inches of her vagina, so after that your larger size isn’t much of an advantage - and can actually be a problem if it causes her discomfort.

The good news for you is that you do have a number of options to offset your over-size problem. If the problem is length, resist the temptation to thrust deep … use shallower strokes and/or utilise positions that restrict depth.
