Condoms Not Feeling Good ... & Positions for Weight Difference
Q. When me and my girlfriend have sex I find that when wearing a condom I do not feel very stimulated. We have tried using different types of condoms with varying results. When having sex with out a condom however it feels great.
Also, our bodies build are different as well, with me being thin and my girlfriend being chubbier. Are there any positions which suit partners with differing body build types?
A. Many people report that they feel somewhat less stimulation when wearing a condom than without. If you have both had STD Testing, and there is a high level of trust in your relationship, you may want to explore an alternative method of Birth Control. However, if testing and total trust are not there you should continue to use a condom. The alternative risk to your health is simply not worth it – for either of you. Try using different brands/types of condom to see what suits you best.
Any position that keeps excess weight away from her pubic area will assist in penetration of a heavier woman. Therefore, it would be helpful to have her butt slightly elevated on a cushion or pillow. Try her laying back at the edge of the bed (as in the Butterfly), and/or with her knees drawn up and wide (The Deckchair or Deep Impact). Another option is to try the Doggy Style Family of positions; they involve you approaching from behind so she will be able to present herself more easily for penetration (especially if most of her weight is on her front). The possibilities include the Kneeling, Standing, and Turtle positions. Experiment to see what works for you both … many of the other positions might also work with a little adaptation. Good luck!
