Should I be circumcised in my 20's?

Q. I am a male in my early 20s and I was wondering should I get my penis circumcised. and how do I put a condom on with an uncircumcised penis?

A. The decision to get circumcised depends greatly on the reason you are considering the procedure, be it religious, cultural, medical, aesthetic, sexual, or otherwise. As with all types of surgery, circumcision is not without its risks and the risk/benefits should be weighed out carefully before undergoing this type of procedure.

Evidence concerning the effect of circumcision on sexual function is lacking, but the majority of available research suggests that there is little difference in sexual function, health or activity in men who have experienced sexual intercourse in the uncircumcised or circumcised states.

However, this topic is one which stirs up much opinion (some very poorly informed) – and much of the research available is often self-serving. For further discussion regarding the pros and cons of this procedure, check out our forum topic on Circumcision.
